We engaged Elisse for the sale of a condo unit in the late summer of 2016. From the outset, she was patient and accommodating. She explained the details of our representation agreement and she indulged my request for copies of MLS data about similar units so I could do my own analysis in an effort to establish a selling price. Elisse recommended a selling price that was lower than we wanted to believe our unit was worth, and of course, she was proven right in the end. The photography was quite well done and her staff was responsive to feedback regarding the description in the listing. She was especially helpful during the negotiations with the buyer. Elisse was obviously familiar with the various kinds of scenarios that could play out and she guided us effectively through them while leaving the decisions firmly in our hands. She certainly knows her business. Elisse was also helpful in ways that went beyond the normal responsibilities of a real-estate agent. She facilitated arrangements with the buyer for a separate transaction dealing with the storage and the furniture in our condo unit. In addition, the buyer discovered a problem in one of the bathrooms after the sale was completed and Elisse took care of it for us. Elisse is the best real-estate agent I have dealt with to date.

Simply put this life-changing event for Patricia would not have happened without TruHome. Your patience and understanding of her needs as well as your tolerance in support of our unusual and very frustrating challenges was amazing and without it, we could not have succeeded. In fact I really don't know if we should be telling people just how above and beyond you went for us - as if negotiating the price on the condo wanted by Shane's mother, Patricia, to a price better than we dared hope given her limited budget, wasn't enough, you sympathized with her determination to keep both her independence and the companionship of her pet which proved far more challenging than we could have thought. With an urgent need to move her quickly into a home safe for her limited mobility. And I haven't even mentioned the additional complications of her family, who she needed to support her in her understanding and decision-making, living in a different province! We honestly can't thank you enough - can't express the piece of mind we had knowing she was in your hands to help and guide her through this huge transition in her life. We could say so much more but I think I will stop here with hugs and a promise to send pics when the last piece of the couch arrives!
